Amanda Lemke, LMHC, LCMHC brings 12 years of experience providing counseling to children, adolescents, adults, and families in both community and outpatient settings. While Amanda has held roles of clinical supervisor and program director, she specializes in working with children and families who may be experiencing diagnosis such as Depression, Anxiety, and PTSD or other trauma related disorders. Amanda also has experience supporting individuals and families with ADHD, parenting concerns and family dynamics, connecting to community supports/resources, and building self-esteem and resilience. Amanda utilizes mindfulness, motivational interviewing, play therapy, and art therapy in supporting those she works with.
Amanda brings a strength based, person centered, holistic perspective to her work in supporting others. She embraces not only meeting people where they are in life, but also supporting them to get to where they dream to be. She believes in supporting individuals and families in developing individualized and customized strategies and supports to assist them in their goals. Amanda provides a therapeutic approach that is nonjudgment and culturally competent, acknowledging and respecting others’ values, preferences, beliefs, cultures, identities and is a LGBTQIAA+ ally.
