Am I a good fit for you?

I base my work on a humanistic approach, incorporating a fundamental understanding that every person is capable of “self-actualization” when provided a safe and supportive space to explore and grow. As a trauma-informed and neurodiversity-affirming therapist, I view symptoms and behaviors as responses to needs for survival and connection. I bring compassion and a desire to understand and know you. I incorporate mind-body-spirit considerations into my practice. I support clients in seeking to understand themselves and exploring the ways that societal norms, familial influences, and intergenerational trauma/dynamics have impacted their perceptions of themselves and others, finding this level of awareness to be the first step in acceptance and growth.
