Lauren Conroy, LCMHC, has 15 years experience providing counseling to youth, adolescents, and adults. Lauren specializes in working with anxiety disorders, PTSD, Depression, and working with families of infertility and pregnancy loss. She has experience working within a variety of concerns including mood disorders, ADHD, adjustment disorders, and eating disorders. Lauren is an LGBTQIAA+ ally. Lauren received her Masters of Science in Clinical Community Counseling from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland. She has extensive experience working with clients providing both individual and family counseling.
Lauren uses a holistic, mind/body approach when working with clients. She believes in an open, non-judgemental, and compassionate approach when providing counseling. She believes that no two people are alike and each person’s treatment should be catered individually to the person and their concerns. Lauren utilizes acceptance and commitment therapy and mindfulness based cognitive behavioral therapy when working with clients.
